The importance of Coimbra, in the Central region of Portugal, the significant increase in tourists in recent years, due to the historical, architectural and cultural importance of the city and its surroundings – its National Monuments stand out, including the University of Coimbra, Machado Museum de Castro, Sé Velha, Church of Santa-Cruz and Conimbriga.
